Nestling at the foot of North Barrule, Ramsey has the best climate of any town on the Island. A short walk along the seafront will bring you to Market Square. You can stop here for a delicious Manx Ice Cream, or perhaps a pint of our local beer before you go on.

From here you have a choice of shopping at a variety of unique local stores or take a stroll across the Swing Bridge which will bring you to our newly opened Swimming Pool.

A short walk from here you will find the Mooragh Park where you will find everything from a boating lake, tennis courts, crazy golf, children’s’ play ground and a couple of cafés to choose from for more ice cream!!!

If all of this is taking its toll on your waistline, why not head off for a days walking? You could try the Millennium Way, a 28 mile walk linking Ramsey to the ancient royal residence in Castletown, or even follow the sign for the Raad ny Foillan “road of the gull” a 100 mile coastal footpath circling the Isle of Man with stunning views.  If all that is not enough there is the rest of the Island to discover, with frequent bus and tram links within 5 minutes walk nothing is too far away.
